Electrical and Test undertakes inspection and testing of both commercial and domestic installations.

Most inspections are undertaken for landlords renting houses out or new house buyers buying.

Very often now surveyors will recommend an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) when buying a house.

Inspections are undertaken for landlords letting out residential accommodation. See our Landlord Electrical Safety Reports page for more information.

I am a specialist in Periodic Inspection and Testing and take pride in conducting them with scrupulous thoroughness.

I hold the relevant qualifications covering the current version of the Wiring Regulations and the periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations and well as being fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

I believe in being transparent in my pricing structure for such work and charge per circuit tested rather than by the hour.  That way you know exactly what your test will cost.

Inspection and testing is priced on a per circuit basis.  You can calculate how much your test will cost by counting up you circuit breakers or fuses in your consumer unit(s), there will be one per circuit.

I charge a minimum fee of £150 +VAT which covers up to 6 circuits and then a further £10 +VAT per circuit thereafter.
