Electrical and Test provides comprehensive inspection and testing services for both commercial and domestic electrical installations.

We frequently carry out inspections for landlords renting properties and for homebuyers purchasing new homes.  In fact, it’s becoming increasingly common for surveyors to recommend an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) when buying a property.

As a specialist in periodic inspection and testing, I take pride in delivering services with meticulous attention to detail.  I hold the necessary qualifications in the current edition of the Wiring Regulations, as well as certification in the periodic inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations.  Additionally, I am fully insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance for your peace of mind.

Transparency is important to me, which is why I offer a clear, straightforward pricing structure.  I charge per circuit tested, rather than by the hour, so you can easily know the total cost upfront.

Pricing:
Inspection and testing is billed on a per-circuit basis.  To calculate your test cost, simply count the number of circuit breakers or fuses in your consumer unit(s)—each one corresponds to a circuit.

• Minimum fee: £150 + VAT (covers up to 6 circuits)
• Additional circuits: £10 + VAT per circuit
